Geography
Haraiki is an atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago. It is 7 km long and 5 km wide. There are three islets on its reef.
Other names: San Quintín, Croker
Location: 17°28′S 143°28′W. It is located 42 km southwest of Marutea Nord.
Area: 4 km² (land) and 10.4 km² (lagoon)
Population: Uninhabited.

History
1768 - Louis Antoine de Bougainville discovered the atoll for Europe.
31 October 1772 - Spanish navigator Domingo de Boenechea sighted the atoll. He named this atoll San Quintín.
6 March 1826 – The atoll was visited by Frederick William Beechey, who named the atoll Crocker Island.
30 March 1837 – The atoll was visited by Edward Belcher
February 1906 – A strong cyclone destroyed all the vegetation on the atoll.
